Bill from NYC Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 where the profit is? Why on Earth would any person fight this monster (although he seems to have just lost a fight)? How much money can these guys be paid? Are they simply junkies who need the money to get stoned? If so, they are WAY tougher than the junkies I have come accross in my day. We can see his fights for free. I just don't understand how Kimbo, his opponents, or the people filming this stuff make any money. Anybody know?
RayFinkle Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Who is Kimbo? That's exactly what I was thinking.
Phlegm Alley Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Who is Kimbo? Kimbo Slice. Here are some Kimbo Slice fight videos. He is a bodyguard for pornstars down in Florida, but he is more known for his arranged backyard, bare-knuckle fights that have been filmed and put on youTube. I, for one, would never mess with Kimbo.

Big MEAN guys often lose, Just ask Mile Tyson.
Mile High Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Boston cop actually fought this guy underground and won. He never fights anyone with any matrial arts training. Ever notice no kicks are ever thrown at the goon?
John Adams Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 He lost this one. http://www.videojunkyard.com/file/131-kimb...hamp-gambo.html
theesir Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 He lost this one. http://www.videojunkyard.com/file/131-kimb...hamp-gambo.html This is actually the fight against the Boston Cop. The label for the opponent is bad. If what I understand is correct, after he beat Kimbo, the Boston Cop was given a match in UFC, but lost.

This was pretty impressive though because the cop took a pretty good beating in the beginning and the reason he won was because he didn't tire out. The long "hold" in the middle of the fight was the end of Kimbo.
