I'll have to see who we're behind though. Did ESPN do the recent piece ranking GMs in all major sports? Kevin McHale came out #1. Ohhhhh, that's very nice. In February the seven best-selling jerseys at NHL.com belonged to Sidney Crosby and six Sabres, part of a jump of more than 1,000 percent in sales of Sabres swag over the past year.

BB27 Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I read the article earlier today and was surprised to say the least that Buffalo even got mentioned. All the major sports outlets seem to crap on Buffalo at every opportunity. It was actually a great read and speaks volumes to the issue of having the right owner for a team to succeed. Golisano has done wonders for the Sabres and western NY in general, now I just wish Ralphie Wilson would get the message. Someone may now hijack this thread.
SilverNRed Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 My LA Angels are no.7 and the no.1 baseball team. You're damn right they are.
