plenzmd1 Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Not sure if this has been brought up, but everything I read about this trade says he was looking for a new contract and wanted to be traded as the Eagles were refusing. Seems a general consensus on this board trade was was good from an economic standpoint as he is tied up for two years at a relatively low salary. Are we gunna have to do a new contract with him for him to play here? Am I missing something?

Part of his wanting to be traded I think was the fact they have two #1 pick DTs on their team and now just signed another FA DT.

I hope he is happy but I would be pretty surprised if he even hinted at a contract extension in introductory interviews with the media. If he wants an extension then the Bills management know it and wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the trade if they weren't prepared to deal with it.
