This same guy (the owner of the Enzo) chose to blow up his actual $400,000 Porsche Carrera GT in a movie instead of using a stunt car or any CGI effects. ;)

Certified true story! And semi-related in a round about sort of way.

My daughter's 5th grade teacher was Enza Fangio of the famous racing Fangio family. My wife and I got to know her a bit and even met Mama Fangio. Who woulda thunk it here in north Texas.

While this tidbit isn't as interesting as The Dean's bar exploits it is in fact true.

I just can't figure out why I'm telling you all this. Perhaps a nap is in order.

Well...at least he had the sense to be a reckless moron with an irreplacable sports car at a track instead of on the freeway.

Unlike the driver of this Enzo (survived)...

Who would have thought Eddie Griffin was a reckless moron?

I've shared illegal substances with Eddie. I didn't think he EVER drove cars.

I'm shocked! You share?

Yes. Actually, I shared with Eddie, not the other way around.
