Stussy109 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/...rticleid=190898 Apparently, Maroney has some serious shoulder issues which prevents him from taking hits. Who will draft the better running back?
Hollywood Donahoe Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 The injury isn't expected to threaten Maroney's '07 season: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...me_to_phoe.html They could wee draft a RB high, though. Backfield duos seem to be all the rage these days.

Who will draft the better running back? Dillon has good shoulders. Can't think why they wouldn't work to retain him if Maroney is damaged goods...
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I've been hearing Brian Leonard with their 2nd 1st rounder.

Who will draft the better running back? Wait a second - I thought the patriots already won the division in 2007. At least that is what the "experts" have all but declared. Now I'm confused......
Prognastic Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I've been hearing Brian Leonard with their 2nd 1st rounder. And as we all know, the patriots follow the mock pretty much to the tee. I could see a RB in the late rounds but as far as I know, Maroney didnt die on the operating table and should be ready to go when the season starts.

Mike in Syracuse Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Is this the 4th or 5th year in a row where they've had 2 first round draft choices?

Geez, you've got a bigger hard-on for Pats posts than HD.
ndirish1978 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 That kid runs HARD. They have seemed to fare well in the draft lately
