Ashton Youboty- Showed promise in limited opportunitites. C. Ko Simpson- A steal who's rangy and physical and has ball skills. A. Kyle Williams- A high-effort player who will be fixture for years. B. Brad Butler- The jury is still out because he didn't play much. D. Keith Ellison- Shows quickness, instincts, and playmaking ability. B+. Not saying I agree with all the grades in the book. Philly's draft (highly regarded among the experts on draft day last year) looks to have turned out very bad. The only player who was semi-productive was Omar Gaither.
Steve O Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Dante graded out better than Huff....All in all it looks good but I still thnk we could have had the same draft plus and extra second and third round pick
JimBob2232 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Wow, looks like he hit the nail on the head with alot of picks last year
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 WOW! This confirms it. WE HAD AWESOME DRAFT LAST YEAR!
4BillsintheBurgh Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Wow, looks like he hit the nail on the head with alot of picks last year Shh, don't let it get out. They were only that good because they had to play. I remember some people on this board wishing for Philly's draft.
Rubes Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Dante graded out better than Huff....All in all it looks good but I still thnk we could have had the same draft plus and extra second and third round pick Good Lord, some people will just never let it go....
JimBob2232 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Shh, don't let it get out. They were only that good because they had to play. I remember some people on this board wishing for Philly's draft. Oh, these are current grades on last years draft...I thought this was last years grades on last years draft...oops.
Steve O Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Good Lord, some people will just never let it go.... Sorry...didn't realize I'm not allowed to share my opinion....
JimBob2232 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Sorry...didn't realize I'm not allowed to share my opinion.... You must be new....
ROCCEO Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Yeah, at the time phillys draft seemed good. The problem is every guy they picked was a boom or bust guy. Its generally a good idea to temper those kind of picks with safer picks throughout the draft. Philly may get the last laugh though, they tend to draft pretty well. In fact our 06 draft reminded me very much of phillys 02 draft. They took a lot of heat but in the end it worked out pretty well for them.
Buffalo Wing Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 But....but....Marv reached for Whitner. That's what they said. But...but...Marv should have taken Broderick Bunkley. That's what they said. Bite me Mike Golic! Bite me Chris Mortensen! Bite me Mel Kiper!
Ranger Ranchod Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Other teams with an A grade on a player... Rd1 Vernon Davis- TE- SF If they penalize Bills picks for not playing enough, how does Davis deserve an A as well? I think he'll be great, but last year was nothing to write home about.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Shh, don't let it get out. They were only that good because they had to play. I remember some people on this board wishing for Philly's draft. Yeah thats it, they can't be any good, they were rookies after all picked by a senile old man.
ndirish1978 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Sorry...didn't realize I'm not allowed to share my opinion.... When your opinion sucks, keep it to yourself
4BillsintheBurgh Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 When your opinion sucks, keep it to yourself lol I guess you're not on the "There is no stupid question" bandwagon either.
