DC Tom Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I'm okay with that. The guy hits the line solid, doesn't stop running, gains hard yards, has his head in the game. So he doesn't have "burst"? He's perfect for "Jauron-ball".
Rayzer32 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Great. A slow, one-dimensional back with stone hands starting with a QB that's still learning the game. Big Ben had Bettis, and Thomas ain't no Bettis, but he also had Parker too. With not much threat in the backfield, are the coaches trying to make it that much harder on JP. I hope like hell we get a RB in the draft and it has to be early. Michael Bush is gone before our 3rd pick.
obie_wan Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Duece McCalister has much more natural ability than A-Train. That being said with a solid o line in front of him, the A train should be productive getting 10 plus carries a game. We still will need to draft the brakeaway speed back to make our running game multi dimensional. Lorenzo Booker
