Britbillsfan Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 stupid 'quiz', with the time given it is a test of typing speed not knowledge. Typing as fast as I could I could only 180 when I realised my time was almost up. 20 minutes would be a test......
KD in CA Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 stupid 'quiz', with the time given it is a test of typing speed not knowledge. Typing as fast as I could I could only 180 when I realised my time was almost up. 20 minutes would be a test...... 1/2 typing test, 1/2 spelling test. If it had smart spell technology it would be more interesting.
erynthered Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 1/2 typing test, 1/2 spelling test. If it had smart spell technology it would be more interesting. All those "Stans" got you, didnt they?

BB27 Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 United States Virgin Islands and American Somoa are not countries. They are part of the US of A. Also, greenland is not a country, it is a territory of the Netherlands.
KD in CA Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Also, greenland is not a country, it is a territory of the Netherlands. I thought it was Iceland? Can we get a ruling from CTM?
shrader Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 So in the Africa one, it would only accept Democratic Republic of the Congo, but in this one it would only accept Democratic Republic of Congo? Screw that, I'm adding one to my score.
X. Benedict Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I got 92 - but mostly what I learn from these things is what a sh------- speller I am. What is with all the territories?
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Thanks Mill! You had to push me over the brink... Didn't ya... Naming all the Canadian provinces and capitals wasn't enough... Had to push it to Africa and now this... Like Shrader said... I still got a beef with the African test severely messing with my time management! This test is surely gonna get me to break out the hammer (and sickle for all you wise guys out there!)
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Greenland is a territory of Denmark. Iceland is an independent country.
