Adam Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 The stuff that was reported last month out of France is garbage. Who are these people anyways- irreversible? No way. At least our contributions. Mirror farms to reflect some of the energy away from us instead of absorbing it, use of photosynthesis in the atmosphere to remove carbon, and energy conversion methods to convert some of the heat into other usable forms of energy. We are not the cause of it, so it can't be stopped completely, but its a b unch of small thinking idiots that come up with innefective solutions like Kyoto, and the spew from last month
Alaska Darin Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 What exactly does this have to do with Holcomb's Arm, Ramius, and Tom?

/dev/null Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 What exactly does this have to do with Holcomb's Arm, Ramius, and Tom? Eventually all threads regress towards those three
DC Tom Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 The stuff that was reported last month out of France is garbage. Who are these people anyways- irreversible? No way. At least our contributions. We solved it. Run more wire, and burn corn stalks, and global warming's a non-issue.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 More fuel for the fire (that I'm sure will lead to the tipping point): NY Times linky. I'm SURE that Al's dead on message, right? Another one! Who knew enviro-nazis could be so mean and hateful? You'd think they were spending their time playing hackey-sack.
Cornerville Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Eventually all threads regress towards those three Or regress towards the mean
Merovingian Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 If there is such a thing as Global warming (which is doubtful) I think it is way more positive then negative. Less clothes to wear, no snow to shovel and more babes running around in bikinis. Where exactly is the downside to this?

Adam Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 What burns me up is that all the movies and stuff are to politicize it and gain power- just like what both sides are doing with the war. Neither side represents the good guys, neither side really cares about solving a problem........just keep dividing everyone and stay in power.....wait a minute, that means there really is just ONE side!
Orton's Arm Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 What exactly does this have to do with Holcomb's Arm, Ramius, and Tom? Yeah, I didn't notice my name in the thread's title, nor in the first post. How on earth does this thread have anything to do with me?
DC Tom Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Yeah, I didn't notice my name in the thread's title, nor in the first post. How on earth does this thread have anything to do with me? We can ignore it. Joe didn't start it.
Chef Jim Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 More bikinis, but less beach. There is always a trade-off. Sorry X, I still don't see the downside.
Orton's Arm Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 We can ignore it. Joe didn't start it. Fair enough.
X. Benedict Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Sorry X, I still don't see the downside. Wow. More bikinis less beach. I get it.
Chef Jim Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Wow. More bikinis less beach. I get it. Hell, more bikinis less beer is ok with me. I can always find something else to drink.
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 75 in VA today!! We're dooooomed!!!! Heck, it was well over 70 yesterday in Chicago!... Even right now it is still above 60 (62) at this time in the morning!
Merovingian Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 More bikinis, but less beach. There is always a trade-off. Who says that there will be any less beach? It may be in a different location, but I think that the overall shoreline should be the same.
