Guffalo Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Makes me feel a little better, still wouldnt mind a breakaway kind of guy, ut no urgency to trade multiple picks for Pederson or move up. We can wait and see whats available at 12, if no great RBs available, go with the defensive needs and wait till the second or third round to address the RB position
stinky finger Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 A good re-signing. Now, where will our go-to guy come from?
bills_fan Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 When paired with Kenny Irons, our 2nd round pick, they will form a formidable duo.
Matt in KC Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 ...Buffalo brought their free agent rusher back into the fold signing Anthony Thomas to a multi-year contract. I'm glad he's back! Anyone know if it's a two-year contract? (I hope)
BuffaloBilliever Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Good. The guy's got heart and he has talent left in his tank. We at least have a solid RB now, just need a solider one... Great to have you back A-Train!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Better not have been for too much. And time to contact the agents for June, Scott, and Harper. It's getting close to draft time. Probably can get them cheap.
Billsjunkie Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Good. The guy's got heart and he has talent left in his tank. We at least have a solid RB now, just need a solider one... Great to have you back A-Train! More solid. Is solider a word? j/k
Fewell733 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Phew. Now our hands are not as tied on draft day.
Squeally Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 That's good...at least there is some stability. I know it's early and you never can predict the draft and who knows what the hell is going to happen but...Pat Kirwan of NFL.com predicted that Peterson might fall to the Bills in his latest mock draft. I know!!! Even before the replies come about mock drafts, but it's nice to think about. His reasoning was the recent RB signings would drop APs value. Nice to think about!
JoeF Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I'm glad he's back! Anyone know if it's a two-year contract? (I hope) Article says multi-year deal. Happy, Happy, Happy...now 1 more RB, a LB, a DT and a corner and then lets play---
Jack D. Ripper Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Good stuff! We have our Mr. Inside now Marv has to find Mr. Outside. It's almost like they have a plan or something!
Cornerville Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 When paired with Kenny Irons, our 2nd round pick, they will form a formidable duo. Pair Irons with Willis or Okoye and we have a winner!!
IDBillzFan Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Interesting comment from JP. "He knows when he's supposed to stay and when to get out," said Losman of Thomas. "He knows when he has to chip, when he has to help a guard, if he has to help a tackle. He knows where to be and when to be there and it was very, very helpful to rely on him. He recognizes things with a defense and knows when he's supposed to stay in and protect or when it's better to get out in a route and get open for me."
