Buftex Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I don't want to jinx the Sabres, but for a couple of years now, I have wanted to make a trip back to Buffalo during the non-holiday season (way too hectic). I was thinking it would be great, assuming the Sabres made it that far, to be in Buffalo for the celebration. I was not there for the last finals appearence, or any of the Super Bowls. I want to celebrate, or comiserate with real hockey fans, instead of sun-belters who the game means nothing to. Anyone know the tentative schedule for the final round? I can't find even a tentative schedule anywhere. Smarter people than me, please help me out!

I seem to remember there being a relatively big break between the CF's and the SC finals in the past.

I seem to remember there being a relatively big break between the CF's and the SC finals in the past. I recall watching the conference finals around my birthday (game 6 was on May 24). So you're likely looking at Memorial Day weekend for the earliest start, if I have it right.

Otherwise, there could be conflicts with other events.

I'm sure some dates will slip by a few days when TV contracts are factored in. But Finals must be complete by June 11 according to TSN.ca Rnd 1: April 11 - April 24 Rnd 2: April 26 - May 9 Rnd 3: May 11 - May 24 Rnd 4: May 26 - June 7

I just remember that on the 18th, for my birthday My sister bought me a Sabres Flag that at that point going into overtime, I was using as a blanket watching the game while everyone else was asleep, and then sitting there in disbelief mumbling, "his foot was in the crease, it was in the crease", then taking the long slow walk up the stairs with my head hung low to go to bed
