Tipster19
This seems to indicate that Buffalo is manuevering for a DT. I do expect quite a few more signings in the next week or two. We should have a good idea by draft time what positions need attention the most.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan
We should have a good idea by draft time what positions need attention the most. I can tell you right now. RB, DT, CB, LB.
Heard of Buffalo Bills
Is this guy any relation to Joe Klecko that used to play with the NY Jets?
The Jokeman
Is this guy any relation to Joe Klecko that used to play with the NY Jets? Yes, Dan is Joe's son. Although he's listed as a DT he's also played FB for New England, who originally drafted him but he moved onto Indy after being cut, yet ultimately might be a career special teamer. Oneonta Buffalo Fan
Is this guy any relation to Joe Klecko that used to play with the NY Jets? I think so. But I'm not 100% sure. Yes, Dan is Joe's son. 100%!
Heard of Buffalo Bills
That's good to know. I hope that he's a chip off of the old block.
ROCCEO
He came out of college as an interior defensive lineman, but he is undersized, I believe about 270 if Im not mistaken. However, he's been found along New England's D line, at linebacker at times and at fullback. Not a great positional player by any means, but IMO he has some level of "football intelligence" and seems to be an "effort" guy so Im sure they have designs for him on special teams. Plus he has experience on winning teams, could be an assett if hes cheap.
Mile High
He would actually fit into our scheme quite well and probably would come fairly cheap. He really does hold his ground for being undersized and I believe the Patriots have used him at olb on certain occasions. Hollywood?
UConn James
(The Jokeman @ Mar 12 2007, 12:06 AM)Yes, Dan is Joe's son. 100%! Actually, 50%. Unless Joe Klecko reproduces asexually.
MadBuffaloDisease
Klecko was with the Pats as a DL, MLB, and FB. They couldn't find a use for him so he was let-go. He played for the Colts last year and similarly was let-go. Doubt he ends-up being much, which is a shame given his bloodlines.

Max997
maybe they want to use him at TE in goal line situations
Lurker
Doubt he ends-up being much, which is a shame given his bloodlines. He'd be a great special teamer, IMO. Good wedge buster in the mold of Mark Pike.
DrDawkinstein
he's the guy that scored 2 TDs for them last year right? seems like a good guy, but a career special teamer.
RayFinkle
Second tier D-lineman, the kind of guy the Bills love to spend big piles of money on.
