***TRADE #12 to NYG for their 1st and 2nd round picks..***

1.) LB Paul Posluszny

He is an absolute beast at LB and he has very high character. He has a "high motor" and is superbly competitive. He reminds me a lot of the beloved Teddy Bruschi.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...lposluszny.html

2a.) CB Aaron Ross

He had 6 picks last year, so he will bring some much needed intereception ability to the Bills. He has good size and leaping ability, also. He will come in and compete instantly for the #2/#3 corner spot.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr.../aaronross.html

2b.) RB Tony Hunt

He is a powerful, big, unselfish player. "Lauded by teammates for doing the “dirty work,” and “playing without the ball,” he does not set personal goals, instead focusing his only concern on improving and doing what he’s asked to do to win the game". He will be the #1 Running back for the Bills for a long, long time. Goodbye, Mr.McGahee.

3a.) RB/FB Brian Leonard

He is a very versatile back and will be a big part of the backfield. He's got power and speed. He is another blue collar guy, too. Now the Bills will have a true running back by "committee".

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ianleonard.html

3b.) WR Andrae Allison

He has good size and he's fast (4.39 40.) He will compete for the #2 WR spot.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...raeallison.html

4.) DT Ryan McBeam

He is a very athletic DT, who will fit in perfectly to this "small" DT rotation.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ryanmcbean.html

6.) CB AJ Davis

He'll add depth to the corner spot.

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...cb/ajdavis.html

7a.) FB Le'Ron MCclain

Great blocker, adds to FB depth.

7b.) WR Matt Trannon

Basketball player too, I'd roll the dice on him any day of the week.

So, as you can see, the draft can solve many problems. The Bills first need was LB, well, Paul Posluszny would fill that void. The Bills 2nd need was corner. Aaron Ross would solve that issue and AJ Davis would add depth. Then, of course, there's the RB. A backfield with Hunt/Leonard/Thomas should scare the sh-- out of opposing defenses. With that being said, there is no need to worry folks. The bills have 8 draft picks and 4 needs.

Not bad...only two comments/questions:

1. I don't think Leonard will be there in the 3rd

2. Who does NE want that they will trade up 12 spots for?

1. This draft is to just give Bills fans an idea of how the Bills can solve their problems. Maybe the could go with a guy look Booker here instead. But I have a feeling Leonard could be around because he's scaring GMs with all this "I'm a running back" talk. Plus not too many teams could use another RB. (Besides us, Tenn, Cle, and GB.)

2. I'm not sure, I was just trading down. I think it would be very easy for Marv to trade to around pick #20 and pick up another 2nd round pick.

Agreed on Leonard.

BUT, I have a name for NE - Patrick Willis. They have an even bigger need at LB this year than we do.

You shorted yourself a pick..we have another 3rd rounder...we have 9 picks after your NE trade.

1st - 1

2nd - 2

3rd - 2

4th - 1

6th - 1

7th - 2

I know-- you traded the 2 3rd's to move up and grab Leonard.. :(

Fair enough...I wasn't trying to be a smartass. I just see a lot of posts/mocks where we trade up or down and I'm always curious if it is just a generic idea or if there was a "willing" trade partner in mind. I made a mock where I thought we could trade down to #20 (Giants) because they need a RB. Trading for Droughns doesn't necessarily change that.

I'd love to scoop Leonard in the 3rd and I'm a big fan of Hunt.

Jeesh, that means that the Bills would have 9 picks for 4 needs. 5 picks for 4 needs on day 1!

That by far is the best that I have seen. I would like to get Brian Leonard, but I do not think he will be around. I would like to pick up another LB at the 7b slot. Good job

I'll counter with a trade up

Buffalo trades 12,43,92, to Tampa for the 4th pick and Takes Calvin Johnson WR

3rd Buster Davis LB

4th Quinton Black LB

6th Antwan Barnes LB

7a Nate llaon RB

7b Tyrone Moss RB

Bills go to a 1 back 3 wr set Johnson, Parish, Evans and rotate the two bowling balls

I like your draft, although I dont see Leonard dropping that far, however, Draft Tek shows us taking Tony Hunt with first third round pick. If we stuck with your draft, according to Draft Tek we would have to take Leonard with the #51 from NYG, then take Hunt with the #74. If that was the case, your draft would work...and would be great!!!!!

Yours would then look like this:

1st Round #20*: LB Paul Posluszny

2nd Round #43: CB Aaron Ross

2nd Round #51*: RB/FB Brian Leonard

3rd Round #74: RB Tony Hunt

4th Round #107: DT Ryan McBeam

6th Round #169: CB AJ Davis

7th Round #203: FB Le'Ron MCclain

7th Round #220: WR Matt Trannon

I would prefer the Bills take Patrick Willis with the #12, then maybe package this years #43 and #92 and next years third round pick to trade up into the first round to take the best available CB (Revis, Houston, or Ross).

Here is what My changes would look like (with my changes we lose Leonard and Allison):

1st Round #12: LB Patrick Willis

1st Round #23*: DB Chris Houston

3rd Round #74: RB Tony Hunt

4th Round #107: DT Ryan McBeam

6th Round #169: CB AJ Davis

7th Round #203: FB Le'Ron MCclain

7th Round #220: WR Matt Trannon
