Adam Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I find it ironic that the best QB in the mix is the one that sat the bench- Alex Van Pelt
Arkady Renko Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 By best, do you mean the one who best maximized his talent?
gmac17 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 by best do you mean "threw for the most yards at Pitt in college"?
Yasin's BILLS Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I find it ironic that the best QB in the mix is the one that sat the bench- Alex Van Peltyeah he was the best between jim kelly and todd collins also obvious sarcasm
K-Gun10 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 at the time yes he was , van pelt was very underrated. IMO
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Best by who won the most games during his tenure at starting qb? Yeah that flutie guy was a terrible winner
Yasin's BILLS Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 at the time yes he was , van pelt was very underrated. IMOunderratted? how could you rate the guy he hardly played, heck i think he's played less games then our current 3rd string qb craig nall of course another sarcastic remark.
bdelma Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 kelly's booze buddy, AVP was as good as Todd Collins
Buffalo Wing Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Gosh, after this week, let's bring up some bad Bills memories!
DC Tom Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I find it ironic that the best QB in the mix is the one that sat the bench- Alex Van Pelt Between the Rob-ots on one side and the Flutopians on the other, us Van Pudlians never had a chance to get the message out...
Buftex Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 AVP was a great temmate, and likely a smart guy. He was definitely, however, not better than either Johnson or Flutie. I remember pre-2002 season, when the Bills were supposedly givning serious consideration (before the Bledsoe trade) to going into the season with AVP as the starter...does anyone remember how, mostly, awful he was in 2001? He was not even as good as Kelly Holcomb.
