C.Biscuit97 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 http://utahutes.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/m...dle_eric00.html The guy played has played strong safety, cornerback, nickel back, quarterback, returned punts, punted, held for the field goal kicker and played safety on the kickoff coverage teams. He had 18 career INTs. In the Emerald Bowl, he helped hold Calvin Johnson to 2 catches for 19 yards. I'm not gonna sit here and say this guy is gonna be our starting corner of the future. But I think you plug him in at nickel or a dime package, along with his special team value, he would be an impact player for this team. Plus, the guy seems to have his head on straight as he is a married man. With one of our 3rd round picks, I suggest we just draft a ball player.

Tipster19 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Very interesting, I think he's a great possibility. This seems to be the kind of player that New England likes.
WVUFootball29 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Weddle is a fun player to watch. He is so versatile in the defensive backfield and he can make plays. I thought he did a great job against the highly touted Calvin Johnson in the bowl game. I still don't see why people use the fact that a college player is married as a source to measure maturity. I know plenty of people that still act like their in high school even though they've been married for a few years. Sadly, marriage isnt the same institution that it used to be in this country.
