K-Gun10 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 the thing is, anthony thomas - who isn't that good - is a better player than chris brown. agreed but what are they waiting for, why arent hey signing him?
Fewell733 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 the thing is, anthony thomas - who isn't that good - is a better player than chris brown. only better in that he was healthy. Brown is a good player and if he wasn't injured all the time he would be a decent starter. A-Train and Chris Brown could probably get us through this year if we really wanted to. We'd then probably take a back in the 3rd and see how things shake out.
Welcome To Pegulavilla Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Didn't Travis Henry beat out Chris Brown as the starting running back for the Titans?????I'm not trying to be a smart ass here .......... I honestly don't recall, and I don't really follow Tenn. brown had a fallout with the coach
bud8andbills Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I'm not sold on Brown. I like Anthony Thomas and a 2nd rounder, but am open to just about anybody for consideration at this point. I say resign A-Train and get a RB in the draft also. I see a few out there that can come to us.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 How About T.J.Ducket? How about NO? Duckett is awful. Power back no burst, no quickness, terrible hands and blocking. As much as I don't want chris brown I'd never want to see TJ Duckett
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Brown to me is not a very good back. He's not the same RB that we saw in Tennessee a few years ago. He's like McGahee only worse.

Kelly the Dog Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Duckett just signed with the Lions. Chris Brown is running out of options. We should be able to lock up him and A Train cheap, and then concentrate on defense in round one and maybe a Bush or Hunt, etc., in round two.
