In space no one can hear Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Belinda Lions? Surprise...Surprise....I thought Tatum Bell would be enough to hold down the fort until Kevin Jones got back.
macaroni Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Didn't Travis Henry beat out Chris Brown as the starting running back for the Titans????? I'm not trying to be a smart ass here .......... I honestly don't recall, and I don't really follow Tenn.
Christopher Capolupo Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I believe Chris Brown was suffering from injuries (which was the norm for him).. which helped Travis Henry become the starter.. Tricky Tra was not the starter going into the regular season.
apuszczalowski Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I believe Brown got hurt in a game, and when he was ready to come back, Travis had already won the job

Travis did, however, put up better numbers than Brown ever has.
2003Contenders Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Brown also found his way into Jeff Fisher's doghouse in the preseason last year -- and demanded a trade, which the Titans refused to oblige. The first thing that occurs to me is that if the Lions do pick him up, I wonder what that will do for their leverage in trading Tatum Bell. Will their asking price of a 2nd rounder remain in place as there is now virtually no one (except presumably Ruben Droughens) on the market? Or will it diminish now (hypothetically) that they have Jones, Bell, Brown and Cason all on the roster? If we could pick up Bell for, say, this year's 3rd rounder we got from the Ravens, would it be worthwhile? I know Bell wore out his welcome in Denver, but Shanhan has a history of run-ins with players.

dave mcbride Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I am not a fan of obtaining a 6'3" RB with a prolific injury history ...
K-Gun10 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I am not a fan of obtaining a 6'3" RB with a prolific injury history ... me niether brother its juss slim pickings out there.
dave mcbride Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 me niether brother its juss slim pickings out there. the thing is, anthony thomas - who isn't that good - is a better player than chris brown.
Koufax Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I'm not sold on Brown. I like Anthony Thomas and a 2nd rounder, but am open to just about anybody for consideration at this point.
