Just Jack Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Marketing Promotional Team (Seasonal) Time Frame: Select Events for dates in June-December, 2007 (dates and times will vary) Compensation: Minimum Wage plus bonus structure Reports to: Director of Marketing Communications Description: The Promotional team member’s main objectives are to solicit credit card applications and Kids Club applications at various promotional events, as well as run games and interact with the public on behalf of the Buffalo Bills. We are looking for very outgoing and personable people to represent the Bills on a promotional team. These candidates would not work on a daily basis; their function is to help at selected events and on game days. An event calendar will be provided to assist with scheduling. It is expected that once the calendar is provided, the candidate would be available to work all dates. Most events take place on weekends. Several positions will be available to work through some of Training Camp in Rochester, NY (generally end of July through August). Current Known Dates (subject to additions and changes): A Training date TBD July 7-8 – Taste of Buffalo Training Camp Night and Weekend practices from the End of July – End of August (Rochester, NY) Game Days (August – December) Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Proactively solicit credit card applications from potential card holders. Work with kids and parents to encourage registration for Junior Bills Backers Assist with the set up and tear down of promotional events. Assist at promotional tables, handing out information and promotional items. Run the interactive games and encourage participation. Actively interacting with prospective Bills fans and customers. Candidates should possess the following qualities: Very Outgoing personality Strong customer service skills Reliability Basic knowledge of Buffalo Bills Selling skills/ sales background a plus Some lifting/moving required for set-up at events *NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE Note: When you apply for this job online, you will be required to answer the following questions: 1.
