BillsFanNC Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 I TiVo'd this on Saturday and just watched it now. Somehow I do feel better now. I can't even begin to count the ways how badly those 84/85 teams sucked. Booker Moore Julius Dawkins Mitchell Brookins Donald Wilson Byron Franklin The Bills were down 28-26 with about three minutes left in the 4th. The Jets' Tony Paige fumbles while subbing for the injured Freeman McNeil. Bills get the ball back with plenty of time to move down and kick the game winning field goal. Fergy gets hurt on the first play and suddenly the Bills hopes rest on the shoulders of Matt Kofler!! You know the rest. Things are bad, but they could be a lot worse.
BillsFanNC Posted October 12, 2004 Author Posted October 12, 2004 Wow. I guess I must be one of the older posters. Didn't anyone else see this and get reminded what truly putrid football was like?
jester43 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 was that the game where they broadcast it with no announcers? that had to be 1984.
