silvermike Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 well just because of this one pickup im watching cold pizza skip bayless said there gonna be right up there with new england, sorry skip they dont even have a qb. So, leaving aside even the Bills and the Jets, you're going to take a team with a rookie HC whose previous experience had the bonus of the best RB and TE in recent memory, Cleo Lemon, a terrible WR corps of Chambers and Booker, no established TE, not a single offensive lineman who even qualifies as average any more, and a defense on the downturn bandaided with Joey Porter, and put them in serious competition with that Patriots?
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I would welcome Lance Briggs as a member of the Buffalo Bills, I'm just not sure that Marv can pull this off. He'll be franchise tagged and will have to suck it up like a big boy after his agent re-familiarizes him with the CBA.
cale Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Yee Gads, good thing we have some beef on the O-line now...What?
K-Gun10 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Yee Gads, good thing we have some beef on the O-line now...What? He said six teams were interested in him and picked the one he felt he had the best chance with, do u think the bills called?
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 there is a reason porter got cut. he is just a loud mouth POS on the downside of his career. We'll see how much of a loudmouth he is around Zack Thomas. I can just see Porter blabbering off in the locker room and in practice about "hey, when we won the Superbowl, we did this....". He's an aging, potentially injury prone LB.
PIZ Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 All of my Squealer friends didn't even flinch when Porter was let go. They could have cared less.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 All of my Squealer friends didn't even flinch when Porter was let go. They could have cared less. Pittsburgh read the writing on the wall that Don Capers didn't.
cale Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 He said six teams were interested in him and picked the one he felt he had the best chance with, do u think the bills called? Naw...
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 "Best chance..." for what? A big payday? Because the Dols will finish last in the division again.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I would welcome Lance Briggs as a member of the Buffalo Bills, I'm just not sure that Marv can pull this off. I'd be stunned if it happened but pleased as pumpkin.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Great! Jets get Jones...Fins get Porter, Pats get Thomas The AFC is getting more powerful each day! The Pats / Adalius Thomas deal looks brilliant relative to this. Friggin Patriots
