Cornerville Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Its over. We are doomed. Cash to Cap will do us in. Thomas Jones...Ive heard of him. Marv, why did we not make this deal? (Just making the contractually obligated negative post of the day)
Christopher Capolupo Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 can't find this story anywhere.. I will keep looking then.
IDBillzFan Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Wow. NOW our defense really IS the worst in the NFL.

Cornerville Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Wow. NOW our defense really IS the worst in the NFL.
Christopher Capolupo Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 maybe we'll trade Willis to Chic now.... mmmmyeah.. they are getting rid of Thomas Jones because they have.. a... back.. So why would they do that now?
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 So much for the idea that the Jets will have a committee of backs next year.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Wow. NOW our defense really IS the worst in the NFL. maybe its a precurser to willis to chicago for briggs?
JimBob2232 Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 maybe its a precurser to willis to chicago for briggs? Yeah, because they didnt just spend the 4th overall pick on a RB 2 years ago.
Christopher Capolupo Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 maybe its a precurser to willis to chicago for briggs? THEY HAVE A RB.. We need to think realistically people.
Frez Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Make fun of the Jets all ya want for picking him up BUT the bottom line is he will make the Jets a better offensive team. Excellent move for the NY Jets.

Christopher Capolupo Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 thank you JimBob.. that makes me sick, absolutely sick.. we are going to need to make some more moves to stay in the mix.
JimBob2232 Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Ugh, its NOT for a 2nd round pick. its to SWAP 2nd round picks. Jets move down 26 slots AND get thomas jones. UGH.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 thank you JimBob.. that makes me sick, absolutely sick.. we are going to need to make some more moves to stay in the mix. Jets fans appear to be fretting though that the team hasn't had a very active offseason. This is the first major move of their offseason program.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Make fun of the Jets all ya want for picking him up BUT the bottom line is he will make the Jets a better offensive team. Excellent move for the NY Jets. Better for chicago in terms of a 2nd is a little high for thomas jones, but the jets did get themselves a good rb who's very good at picking up the blitz, not much of a receiving threat, and probably hit his ceiling, but he's a good pure runner will be a nice mix with the versatile leon washington.
