buckeyemike Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Casino money shares is 100% correct. BTW, Go Tribe!! A side note: When the Tribe was selling out every game for five years in the late 90s, the Native American activists were out for every single game protesting that Chief Wahoo was racist in nature, and by extension, so were Indians fans. I've seen them out there about five times since 2001, and only once last year. Ironically, it was Opening Day. That shows me those people are just looking for attention. If they are so concerned about their plight, promote education among young people and ban alcohol from the reservations. Except for the casinos, of course.

If they are so concerned about their plight, promote education among young people and ban alcohol from the reservations. Except for the casinos, of course. I get what you are saying... Yet, you have to be smart about the battles you wage and the resources you have... Since they are losing in Clevelend, not much attention is being payed to the team... Why should you risk all your resources? Yes, they are looking fo attention... You hit the nail on the head... You are not going to get your way without that attention... IMO, I think the Native American activists would agree with you... My point? What is wrong with that? They are still fighting behind the scenes for change... Just pop into the forefront when Cleveland begins to win and get national exposure... It is all about that attention and using your enemy's positive attention to promote your viewpoints... There is no doubt that they seem to be using the success of their advesaries to their own advantage... And again, what is wrong with that?
