Marshmallow Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 We'll get the number 1 pick in the draft with that trade! Use that pick on OL. Cut Bledsoe. Next year.... Losman will have half a season under his belt. We'll be starting a more athletic QB behind a better oline Better oline means better blocking for Willis.
TheMadCap Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I don't think the fat tuna is THAT stupid....
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Someone actually has to WANT to trade for him before you can do that. I'm not sure there is much of a market for a guy getting 33 yards on 12 carries who has a fetish for underage females.
R. Rich Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 If only you could orchestrate trades in the real world as well as you can on Madden or ESPN football, huh?
MattyT Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Why? So the 'Boys can have a glut at the HB position too? Doubt it.
Bill from NYC Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Someone actually has to WANT to trade for him before you can do that. I'm not sure there is much of a market for a guy getting 33 yards on 12 carries who has a fetish for underage females. 66000 Tough to argue with that post.
zow2 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 The Cowboys won the Lottery on that draft day trade. They won't be stupid enough to trade it back.
njsue Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Oh please go away troll. Travis Henry is not going any way. But, you can.
The Jokeman Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Maybe that trade won't happen but maybe can convince Tuna to take Bledsoe instead. As Bledsoe might be a good stop gap if Vinny T doesn't stick around (since he is over 40) and Henson might not be ready to start for a year or two. I don't see him trading for Henry with EGeorge there and Julius Jones still in the fold. Granted if the pick turns into a top 10 (which might not be the case as still think we have a legitimate chance to turn things around to be at least 9-7) there's no way we'd get it back.
Frez Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Panthers RB Foster out 6-10 weeks They need a RB bad!
Corp000085 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Panthers RB Foster out 6-10 weeks They need a RB bad! so do the bills
Garranimal Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 so do the bills 66139 you know the funny thing about all this is that every person on this board who spews venom assumes that every other team in the NFL would gladly take Henry, and i think they are right. These are also the same people who think that every other team has a smarter GM and a better coach. So by taking Henry, these teams would continue to be better and smarter than the bills. the logic escapes me.
