Like blowing up some Buddhists! BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) -- Suspected Muslim insurgents bombed a commuter van in Thailand's restive south on Wednesday and then shot dead eight passengers, police said. The driver of the van was wounded in the attack, which took place about 9:30 a.m. local time (0230 GMT), said police Col. Apirak Sangkao, chief of police in the Yaha district of Yala province, where the violence occurred. Drive-by shootings and bombings occur almost daily in Thailand's three Muslim-majority provinces -- Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani -- where an Islamic insurgency that flared up in January 2004 has killed more than 2,000 people. So if point our the large number bombings and such carried out by groups who are tied to each by the money sources and their version of Islam, you are a bigot. It like if your are police charged with cracking down on gang shootings. But since all the gang bangers he arrests, he is charged as racist, even though are aren't really any non-black members of the cribs and bloods. Why not ever comment on the story posted? Whatever they're talking about, it probably isnt good for us. I like to think the USA current has more of a Hacksaw Jim Dougan mentality rather than the Hulkster. We go where we want when we want waiving the flag and wacking folks over the head with a 2X4 who don't agree with us. Not that it is a bad thing, I'm just sayin.... Though I did hear a very interesting interview with someone who to used to be a member of the PLO, Walid Shoebat, who since converted to Christianity. He put the number at closer to 10-25%. He also noted that many displaced Palestinians were kept in refugee camps as a kind of "political pawn" by Arab governments. Shoebat talked about a racist ideologythat is used as recruitment by such groups as the PLO, who start off by denying the Holocaust, and seek to change all Jewish holy places into Muslim ones. As a teenager he joined the PLO and was involved in rioting in Israel, where he was briefly imprisoned. Later, while studying in the United States he came to the realization that everything he was taught about the Jews was a lie, and he eventually began speaking out on the issue. I posted an article that showed Saudi Arabia and Iran were at least trying to contain the violence and you ran off with some damn post about a different attack, concerning some other local with nothing to do with Iraq, SA or Iran. When the goal of the talks is stop violence against non-muslims living in the region, or to the madras terror brainwashing machine, then I will give them all the credit in the world.
