Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 They can kiss our collective butts. D'oh. You tell them girl.
Phlegm Alley Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Bump that up to a 2nd, and I think you have a deal.
The Senator Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Well, if nothing else, Marv has at least established McGahee's value around the league to RosenLouse and his loud-mouthed, blo-hard, schitt4brains client, I think.
Nanker Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Bump that up to a 2nd, and I think you have a deal. A 2nd AND a kiss on both collective butt cheeks that is.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 if we dont get a 1st we should get a 2nd and a 4th or 5th...we drafted willis in the 1st round and he has had two 1,000 yard seasons.he has only been in the league 4 seasons and didn't play the 1st season,so he should have less mileage on him.a dedicated willis (if that can happen)can be a productive football player(hopefully for the giants or broncos).go bills in"07
obie_wan Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Bump that up to a 2nd, and I think you have a deal. anything less than a high 2nd is too little for Willis. He has more value in Buffalo playing in his contract year.
SRQ_BillsFan Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 The New York Post had them picking up Willis for a "second day" pick in an article the other day. LMAO
William O Darby Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Willis is an average NFL Back--Not to quote MM but he doesn't hit holes hard. He hesitates too much.--Not too mention we are only going to have him for 1 more year and the fact that he is a bit of a cancer. Marv, take the best you can get for WM and ship him out. I would be OK with a 3rd.
Christopher Capolupo Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 if he wants to and dedicates himself to playing for buffalo, he is useful and valuable.. but if he pulls some of the stuff he has in the past.. he is only worth a 3rd rounder. Doesn't matter where we drafted him, he needs to play with more heart.
BuffBills#1 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 We might as well keep Willis unless we can get a 2nd rounder for him. He is in a contract year so obviously he is going to be motivated to have his best season ever. We just upgraded our O-line for Willis to actually have holes to run through. J.p. is going to need a solid running game to keep progressing as a quarterback.
Omar Little Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 How about McGahee and a second for their first?
mead107 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 bring in dillon for a year or 2 , send willis packing take the 3rd and a 5th
Kiwi Bills fan Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 They can kiss our collective butts. D'oh. No kidding. With our new bulked up O-Line... I waiting, no make that PRAYING to see that sweet stiff-arm and power-running that Willis used a couple years ago. Heck, he showed flashes of domination out on the field. It would be really stupid to trade him for beans.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I don't think we will get a 2nd round picks for him. A 3rd round pick is good enough.
Fan in San Diego Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Willis is not going to get traded. They will go after either Travis henry or Jamal and not have to give up any draft picks. Willis is ours and he will be amonster this year. It's his payday contract year.

Max997 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 They can kiss our collective butts. D'oh. I would take a 3rd in a heartbeat....Bills wont get a 2nd for McGahee and anyone that thinks they will is kidding themselves
Ray Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 A 3rd round pick is his value. You couldd pick up a rookie to get the same production you got out of him last year. He does not want to be hear---basically confirmed by what Rosenhaus said. He probably will have a decent year given that it's his contract year but for him that is about 1200 yards. RB value has diminished greatly in the NFL except if you're an LT. He gained all of 990 yards last year and many times he could have gained more than he did. He is about maybe the 16-20th best RB in the league--3rd rounder is good enough for him. The Colts seemed to do fine when they lost a much more superior back in James.

Agree here, and maybe lower than that from a yardage production standpoint. 16th-20th best would be generous. 1 LaDainian Tomlinson SD 1815 2 Larry Johnson KC 1789 3 Frank Gore SF 1695 4 Tiki Barber NYG 1662 5 Steven Jackson StL 1528 6 Willie Parker Pit 1494 7 Rudi Johnson Cin 1309 8 Brian Westbrook Phi 1217 9 Chester Taylor Min 1216 10 Travis Henry Ten 1211 11 Thomas Jones Chi 1210 12 Edgerrin James Ari 1159 13 Ladell Betts Was 1154 14 Fred Taylor Jac 1146 15 Warrick Dunn Atl 1140 16 Jamal Lewis Bal 1132 17 Julius Jones Dal 1084 18 Joseph Addai Ind 1081 19 Ahman Green GB 1059 20 Deuce McAllister NO
