The Tomcat Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I've got about 20 toners from printers/faxes etc.... Does anyone pay $ for these or should I pollute the earth and just throw them out?
erynthered Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I've got about 20 toners from printers/faxes etc.... Does anyone pay $ for these or should I pollute the earth and just throw them out? Ask yourself, "What would Al Gore do?"
Chilly Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Ask yourself, "What would Al Gore do?" Al Gore would eat the toners. Oh, and Tomcat, I want pictures.
stuckincincy Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Ask yourself, "What would Al Gore do?" Own the company. The latest word is that he buys those "carbon offsets" he ballyhooed in defense of his energy gobbling, from a company that he owns.
The Tomcat Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 Al Gore would eat the toners. Oh, and Tomcat, I want pictures. Of the Toners? or Al Gore?

One of the chains - Office Depot, Office Max - I forget which one - for a long time said that they will give you a free ream of paper for each toner cartridge you bring in.
Chilly Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Of the Toners? or Al Gore? Of you eating the cartridges.
The Tomcat Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 Of you eating the cartridges. I know!!.....lol
IDBillzFan Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I get $3 for every empty toner cartridge I bring to Staples for recycling. Sometimes they only let you use the money for more toner, but othertimes they just give you coupons toward your next purchase. Of course, I'm talking about the small cartridges for my HP7310. For all I know you're referring to those old toner drums, in which case I have no idea, but it's worth a try.
