My alma mater, Mount Vernon Nazarene, used to play Bluffton in baseball. MVNU was/is a traditional NAIA power, Bluffton is Division III. Did the driver fall asleep at the wheel? This is so sad. Anyone who's ever driven in the HOV lane around that spot can probably understand why this was bound to happen at some point. They exit ramp comes off the HOV lane, i.e., off the LEFT lane, so it's very difficult to even tell it's a damn exit. The guy probably thought it was still the HOV lane and hit the exit full speed.
