generaLee83 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 What's a realistic expectation for a trade (draft pick)? What's the cap hit if he's outright released?
Nanker Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 What's a realistic expectation for a trade (draft pick)? What's the cap hit if he's outright released? Look it up and let us know. Also, provide us a linky.
Mikie2times Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 His amortized bonus is 1.8 million this year, so if the Bills spread that out evenly with two years remaining his cap hit would be at least 3.5 million. It could be a little more or less depending on when we do it, and how the contract is structured. As for his trade value I would have to say it's slim to none. He might get a few feelers because he has a couple years of potential upside with injury involved, but at this point other teams likely view him as old damaged goods with a hefty price tag.
Mike formerly from Florida Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Look it up and let us know. Also, provide us a linky. I don't see them getting any more than a 6 or 7. He is damaged goods. A shame. Another sad story for Bills' fans. Guy was a hulluva player.

generaLee83 Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 http://www.billsdaily.com/frontoffice/salarycap.shtml here is a list of many of the players cap hits if we release them Let me get this straight, Parrish is going to make 4.68 million this year? That's a sin
silvermike Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 That's a typo. He's a second-round pick on his rookie contract.
