Kyle Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 http://tsn.ca/nfl/news_story/?ID=198239&hubname= edited sorry bout that
Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I think Porter has a little left in the tank. If he`s he`s a cheap pick-up, I`d give him a shot . He does have a nasty ATTITUDE.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Joey Porter at this stage is nothing more then a situational 3-4 pass rusher. He's not one the better tacklers in the league, and he's not good in coverage. We need to get youth at the lb position not another one who's 30+
K-Gun10 Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Porters not a long term solution thats what we need. hayes that would be interesting?
Blue Chipper Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 when a former all pro is cut with a year remaining on his contract you have to think there is more to the story that cost cutting by the Steelers. Maybe they know his best days have past and would rather spend the money elsewhere. Some team will sign him but I hope its not the Bills. We have a similar older linebacker who Marv and company are letting walk because they feel he has played his best games already and is not worth the money.
PistolPeaTear Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 yeah porter is a 3-4 linebacker, he would have no business in our defensive scheme. Unfortunately I think he has some left in the tank and fits the defensive scheme of all our division opponets. But with that said, jason peters would make him his B word.
