The Big Cat Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 But in cutting Bowen and CV, did The Bills re-free the space which was consumed by the Kelsay signing just days ago??
ROCCEO Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I contemplated this, but it seems like at best we could've gotten about half that space back. Theres no telling though with our crazy cap voodoo economists.
BuffaloRebound Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 But in cutting Bowen and CV, did The Bills re-free the space which was consumed by the Kelsay signing just days ago?? Maybe in cap room, but not in cash. Those cuts probably covered the RFA tenders and signings. I would guess the Bills have $20-25m left in free agent spending. The problem is who do you spend it on if not Clements?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 The Bills saved $2.5M. I doubt that's Kelsay's "cash to cap" number, but it frees up a portion of it.

Considering we have no NFL caliber guards on this team, my bet is one of the names out there. Plus hopefully Nick Harper.
Mark Long Beach Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I'm holding out for a guard too, but... they seem to be really popular right now, so the price will be sky high.... I'm afraid it'll take an obscene amount to get one of the best, and we won't pay it. (not that that's necessarily a bad thing monetarily speaking)
