GG Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Yeah, I still wish Everson Walls had tripped over Al Edwards on a certain play, but this move goes beyond class. A true friend.

Yep. 95+%of NFL players are decent people. Most local newspapers, if they are in shouting distance of an NFL city - or are one, - have several articles every year about this or that player doing good works.
DC Tom Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Yeah, I still wish Everson Walls had tripped over Al Edwards on a certain play, but this move goes beyond class. A true friend. I'd donate a kidney to you, you know. Not one of mine, of course. Maybe DeLuca's.

Ramius Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Yeah, I still wish Everson Walls had tripped over Al Edwards on a certain play, but this move goes beyond class. A true friend. sportscenter had a segment on these 2 not too long ago. it was great, and these 2 are and have been the best of friends for a while. Springs son, CB shawn springs, offered his kidney (he was the only match from the immediate family), but his dad said no, you need to play football.
In space no one can hear Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 you know it would be a good one - he is always pissing and moaning about something... If his kidney was rejected by the recipient, Deluca would find a way to blame it on Marv!
