You are now a distant speck in the rear view mirror of the best team in baseball......the St. Louis Cardinals. The best part is, the RED SOX are closing fast on you..........

Let me guess though........wait until October.

Oh no BF...the most obvious ignorant, elitist Yankee answer (:cough njsue cough:...:cough cough alaskadarin cough:) to this post is "1918". Oh wait, that's only when Red Sox fans come after them. They have no answer for fans of the best team in baseball.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if they coughed up the AL East lead and suddenly found themselves fighting for a wild card spot??

Cardinals are looking really good right now.

BF, I was told that the Yankees were losing so that they could prevent the Red Sox from getting the wild card spot...if you can believe that.

I love it...a CARDINALS fan makes a post with a subject line with the word YANKEES in it, why are you so concerned about calling out the Yankees fans when its so evident the Cardinals are so good we might as well shut down the season and give them the World Series? I love watching other fans of other teams call out the Yankees and their fans when they lose, and then cry and whine when the Yankees trade for A-Rod or spend their $ and say "Ill never watch baseball again"..it just makes me laugh.

Read my previous posts if you want about the Yankees, they have pitching problems and they were eventually going to be exposed. Seems that Mr Steinbrenner is getting too involved again in the daily operations of this team again. It may be time for him to be 'suspended' again so the Yankees can develop young players a la 1992-1994

Cards have just been steady, regardless of who they play. I mean who can possibly hope to limit their lineup? One guy slumps and there are 4-5 others who are on. I'm looking forward to the fall.

You're right. The Cards have been steady. That's our problem in NY right now. We're going cold at the same time. It's unusual but I'm not concerned as of yet. We'll get our act together and be right in the thick of things. No worries here.

I have major concerns as a Yankees fan...the pitching staff has throw 1, count it, 1 complete game this year, the starting pitchings problems have taxed the bullpen, especially Quantrill and Gordon. And their lineup, yes they have awesome power, but the Yankees do not generate runs like they used to, they seem to have fallen in love with the longball, they need to change that way of thinking come October.

Posted

Fans of other teams call out the Yankees fans because when they win that's all that we hear........so when you lose expect to hear about it. I guess that comes with being "The Evil Empire".

I'm sorry but in my mind the Cardinals are the best team in baseball and I don't see anyone beating us.

That includes NY.

Bill that form is laughable. It won't work for fans of a team with 15 pennants and 9 World Championships..........keep pushing it on the Sox fans.
