ROCCEO Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 C'mon, seriously. I mean, think about it MAN! Donahoe was a way better GM than grandpa...er...i mean...marv. Ol Whitey never would overpay for an average guy like Chris Kelsay. Free agents to be? nonsense. let em walk. 5 years for 23 million, if antoine winfield and worth it and pat williams and worth it. Why is kelsay worth it. Tom makes this move you all cringe. Golden Boy makes it and everyoen is lining up to congratulate him on his genius. Plus Tommy D always knew which big name free agent to go for. Look at Chris V, Bennie Anderson, Kelly Holcomb, Dave Moore, Eddie Robinson. These are the cornerstones of a championship caliber team.
OCinBuffalo Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Are you: 1. Drunk? 2. High? 3. Tripping? 4. All of the above?
Britbillsfan Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Are you: 1. Drunk? 2. High? 3. Tripping? 4. All of the above? or, alternatively, 5. Sarcastic?
OCinBuffalo Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 or, alternatively, 5. Sarcastic? umm, right. nothing gets by you.
Nanker Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Why bring up thoughts of Professor Harold Hill at a time like this?
ROCCEO Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 I guess my "1000th post prankster" idea just went over like a lead zeppelin.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Rocceo, you had me until i read"Eddie Robinson". at that point i KNEW you couldnt be serious. unfortunately, with the current state of the board and its posters, a lot of people wont be able to tell that you are joking... nice one though
Beerball Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I guess my "1000th post prankster" idea just went over like a lead zeppelin. Well, there is your mastery of the English language.
The Tomcat Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Honestly, I thought TD would be back in the league somewhere by now. Say what you want but he made deals, stirred things up and brought excitement and hope to the team and fans. Unfortunately it didn't add up wins in the real world. I would think teams like LA would take a shot at him. Anyways..........

The Tomcat Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 LA Galaxy? Express? HA.....you know Its funny I typed that....where are the Raiders these days anyways? Oh yeah....Oakland.....thats what I meant....Oakland....
Mike in Syracuse Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Why isn't "stupid" one of the choices?
tennesseeboy Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 TD really did make a mess of his Buffalo stay and I think he poisoned the well for working with any other NFL team. Now...given the retreading of failed coaches, shitting the bed sooooo bad that you can't get another NFL position really takes some doing.

beerme1 Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Are you: 1. Drunk? 2. High? 3. Tripping? 4. All of the above? Wait, if you're tripping aren't you high?
ROCCEO Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 Like towelie, I was only "a little high" when i wrote this. ALthough it isn't anywhere near as good as a million little fibers.
OCinBuffalo Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Wait, if you're tripping aren't you high? Tripping = acid or mushrooms, could be peyote and a bunch of other things High = weed And ROC, don't blame me, I tried to help get it going for you but SOMEBODY messed that up.
Patience Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 31-49 Yep, such a great winning precedent set by Tom.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Honestly, I thought TD would be back in the league somewhere by now. After all, he draft a lot of bust players and was the one who screwed this team up.
