Fan in San Diego Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 to be cut by the Rams. Good OL just dont show up in droves as we all know.
BuffBills#1 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 If he is healthy a player like Timmerman could be just what this line needed. A veteran prescence to help improve are young guys on the line. Look what Larry Allen did for San Fran.
OnTheRocks Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I think he is 35. But I think Fowler and Gandy and Royal to some extent provide leadership to the Oline. If he is dirt cheap he is worth a look see, but I suspect the Bills have had their fill of veteran Guards that don't work out. (i.e....Bennie Anderson, Tutan Reyes).
BuffBills#1 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Anderson and Reyes were cheap bums off the street. They weren't ever good, it was simply the Bills trying to throw some garbage together and hope it creates a good O-line.
obie_wan Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Joe D is a borderline hall of famer I see he has been in the news recently and has no pension plan - so he should come cheap. Sign him up!

Rubes Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Not that I have any love for the guy, but....have we all forgotten or given up completely on Villarial? I know he can't stay healthy, but he's still a decent guard to have around.
