San-O
Bills offense: 28 th yards/game 31 st points/game Bills defense: 15 th yards/game 14 th points/game Very average defense and the offense is as bad as ever, maybe worse? Oh yeah, leading the league in sacks allowed.
Frez
Most sacks allowed...................what's new? Nothing at all has changed on this team! Hey Donahoe, maybe we should have kept Ruben Brown and got rid of you!!!

Fezmid
Our defense held the NFL's leading rusher to a measly 77 yards rushing and a 3.5 average (both season lows for Martin - he was averaging 141 yards per game)). Also held him to his 2nd lowest receiving yardage on the season. They also held the Jets to their lowest point total of the season (they were averaging 27 points per game). The defense allowed the FG at the end and allowed a few too many first downs. But overall they played well. Take away the touchdown on the bad PI call in the endzone, and their totals look even better. CW

The Jets also bumbled away the ball twice to us deep in our territory, and missed a FG. They also completed 70% of their passes. Pennington also had his first 300 yard game this season. They were also 60% on third downs. Wayne Chrebet had a season high 9 catches. They had eight WR's catch a ball. They had the ball for 34 minutes and racked up just under 400 yards. And they played sloppy. Yeah, the D was awesome!

I guess my point is that this defense, although probably still very good, is not going to keep us in every game and will get tired in the fourth quarter. They are very prone to being killed with big plays also. Hence, they are statistically slightly better than average. This should improve IMO after we get injured secondary players back, however to late.
