It's ok... not super great and not bad. Way better to go during nicer weather though. Never been to the Left Bank so I can't offer any advice there.
bills_fan Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Left Bank is a very good place for dinner in Buffalo (so is Just Pasta, BTW). The Dock is better for drinks or happy hour or just spending a summer day having beers and burgers on the back deck. For a formal dinner, its not as good.

Left Bank is... fancier(?) for lack of better words. if you are looking to take her to a more sophisticated, hip, downtown restaurant than stick to Left Bank. DatB is a little more laid back, country, homey type place. food is good, but its not in the same league as Left Bank.

The food is far better at Left Bank, but may be a little more pricey. On a summer night the Dock has a better atmosphere, where Left Bank is smaller and pretty loud. Age wise Left Bank is a younger crowd, the Dock is mostly a 40-50'ish crowd.
