Dual RB way to go Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 So let's get RB Maurice Drew-Jones of the jaguars for a 1st rounder and the well loved Willis. Our 1st rounder this year isn't going to do alot of damage. This trade will fill a BIG hole for next 5 years. Kid's good!!!

BillnutinHouston Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Is kid good enough to warrant Willis and a #12 pick? Ah, no.
Cornerville Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Step away from Madden 2007............... Slowly...................
Dual RB way to go Posted February 19, 2007 Author Posted February 19, 2007 The kid was touted for rookie of the year; Busted some very big plays during the 2nd half; Played hurt throughout the whole second half; Hes under contract for next few years....... Your not gonna get a proven quality RB & alot of potential like this for cheap

I don't call Willis a starting RB unless the bills are going to play the Jets 16 times a season. His stats minus the jets are just average. So all of uz that hate this idea: What do you think Willis is worth, considering his last year of contract, his average season, and fact that he has more kids with different woman than 3rd & 1 conversions?

If you go by that, he is also considered injury prone since he has spent a big chunk of his pro carreer hurt
theesir Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I think we should make this move while Jacksonville isn't looking.... Do you seriously think that they would be willing to trade away a player with so much upside potential for Willis and another draft pick? They could build their offense around Jones-Drew over the next few years. Maybe we could throw in Mike Williams as well.... wait..... never mind.

Well at least YOU realize the deal is in the Bills favour. You can peddle Willis on the market while using the OL and Losman as scapegoats. If he doesn't produce (why would he), his value will be nothing to what they could get now for him.
mead107 Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 how many yards will he get behind our line ??????????????
Dual RB way to go Posted February 19, 2007 Author Posted February 19, 2007 how many yards will he get behind our line ?????????????? About TWICE as many as willis in 2008 ( 1,000 vs 1,800) aprox; my future calculator's batteries are running low.

I'd rather shore up one of our teams main weaknesses with our first pick. Let's draft the "next" Jones-Drew in the second or third round to complement Willis.
