ajzepp Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I haven't seen any data on it yet, but for some reason it just seems like fewer players are blowing out their knees and being shelved for lengthy periods of time over the past few years with serious injuries. Anyone have any facts and figures on this? I'm just wondering if this new FieldTurf stuff has made a positive difference in the safety of the game.

Correct me if I'm wrong people.
Nanker Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I think it make you slip easier I heard. Correct me if I'm wrong people. OK. But remember, you asked... I think it makes you slip more easily. I believe I heard that somewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong people.
JM57 Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I think it make you slip easier I heard. Correct me if I'm wrong people. I didn't think it was slippery at all when I played on it. It was much better than the rock-hard ground and sparse grass that some high school fields consist of.
