I've lived in both places, have you? I've lived in NYS and now California - the taxes/fees situation is pretty much a wash. In fact the car is already packed, the beer is on ice and the sea kayak is ready. We're heading out for another camping trip across the bay as soon as I leave work this afternoon. Abel Tasman National Park to be exact. Here's a slideshow that I made of our Father and Son trip that we took last month in the same spot... think summer!
