apuszczalowski Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 But they've got major cap issues. How they handle Brunell over the offseason will impact their cap. But they are always having Cap issues around this time, then they restructure contracts, make a couple cuts, and BAM, they are back in the game and signing some big names. They don't have to keep money open for signing rookies and picks because they never have any cause they give them away like hard candy from a grandma
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Skins are in salar cap hell right now.......if they signed either one they will be in trouble. Have they not learned big names and contracts dont get it done! Skins are an NFC pro bowl team basically....and they suck but last year they were in cap hell as well and signed folks not sure how the heck they get away with it
bbfan54 Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 This part of why I beginning to think it is more likely that F-B is the guy who gets tagged. If not it simply creates a question of who we line up at MLB next year and as the best bet on our roster right now is moving Crowell and having a rookie fill that spot runs the risk that even a lofty #12 choice ends up producing like 4 of the 5 2002 NFL picks in a draft considered bereft of top 10 level picks at LB, it is really clear now that a lot of our strategy revolves around what we do at MLB. Tagging London would be stupid. If you franchise him it is the average of the top 5 LBs and if you tranistion tag him it is the average of the top 10. Fletcher is not stupid, he would sign the offer immediately and he would be guaranteed the whole salary which is way more than he is worth.
