eSJayDee
Likely minimum wage for a player w/ his experience. Can't get any cheaper than that (except of course the SB).

Buftex
Wire is developing into a good role player for the Bills (despite the jokes about him here), who likely knows that he wouldn't make much else where, and would just end up bouncning around from team to team. The Bills current coaching staff recognizes the importance of special teams, and would be less likely to see him as expendable, than a new team, come summer training camp. clumping platelets
This is why he likely re-signed. Wire and his agent realized his best opportunities were here in B-Lo.

marauderswr80
I have no problems with the Wire deal........ Hes a tough player with great team attitude and does whatever the team wants him to. Guys like this are hard to come by in the NFL.

In space no one can hear
Having that extra bit of talent will also help.....Something that is missing in Wire.....Guys like him are hard to come by....But do they help in taking you to the super bowl ? All the complaining about him each year- but each year he fends off competition thanks to his tireless work ethic and commitment to the Bills organization. Bobby April sang his praises after the season that he graded out as our number one special teams player. Levy resigns him to contract extension at a great price. What's not to like? Also, no I don't think a player with the attributes of Coy Wire keeps one from getting to the Super Bowl. Rather the opposite infact. Our great Bills teams had a ton of high character and great work ethic "role" players.
