This man really did travel the world playing the large and small places , I seen him in the fifties in Hamilton , at Victoria Park. This just a small city park with a small grandstand that held about 200 people a most , the remainder of people ringed the field to watch, many, many people deep. Remember a city works crew man named Jerry who was in charge on chalking the field , problem was the Park House was just across the street from Ballpark, the lines were as straight as how many beers Jerry had, sometimes foul territory was most liberal.
