A good column from Easterbrook on how off predictions always are. Glad to see he implicates himself as well here.

 

Good, yes, but the best that he ever wrote was last weeks column, so that I understood better why Grossman looked so bad trying to throw long balls in the rain, as I reran the Super Bowl Game. It made me appreciate and understand more what had actually occurred during that game, rather tan the semple minded "Grossman blew it."

I don't know if that's the point. He cherry picks a lot. As he says, you won't find a ny good predictions in the column because that's not what the column is for, not because there weren't any.

Wow, what a mess a lot of those predictions were.

 

Let's just hope that Jaws has some special mystical powers and has a special feeling backing up his view that the Bills are his "sleeper" pick for 2007.
