Tipster19 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 His attitude has been good, he has great hands and his weight won't be a negative. Having interchangable parts seemed to work pretty good for New England. We haven't been to afraid to convert players' roles, ala Wire and Peters. I had to edit, couldn't fit the original title in completely.

JStranger76 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 There were rumblings before he was drafted about that possibly happening. I wouldn't be against it, but you know someone will have a problem with it around here.

Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Mike Williams! I don't think so. He's awful.
frogger Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 there is nothing tight about Mike williams, plus tampa will never let him go
ROCCEO Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 ALl we need....another Mike Williams. Furthermore: I love this idea in theory, however, I dont know if it would hold up in practice. Now if we could get him in here for a low contract number then sign him up and turn him into a situational red zone threat. Even if thats all he is, he could at least do it while at the same time creating a distraction which frees up the other players.

cantankerous Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 there is nothing tight about Mike williams, plus tampa will never let him go lol...you made me laugh with that one.
In space no one can hear Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 lol...you made me laugh with that one. Yeah that was funny. Also- I think we have had our franchise quota of players named Mike Williams who suck.

But seriously, the guy ain't fast enough at wr and can't get enough separation. Why not pack on a little weight and have a huge advantage over Lbs and safties. Great idea, though I don't think it will ever happen.
slothrop Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Not the worst idea ive heard. uh . . . right. I once heard a conservative friend of mine argue in favor of using nuclear weapons on the middle east. That may be the only idea worse than this.
