marauderswr80 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Love that guy, slightly on the older side, but plays likes hes in his 20's!
Phlegm Alley Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I saw something on Sportscenter about Edwards and how he is allergic to grass.
In space no one can hear Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Love that guy, slightly on the older side, but plays likes hes in his 20's! Edwards has been quite a superior player for some time. My own problem is I want our players who play like they are in their 20's to be in their 20's.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Donnie Edwards ?????????? He's pushing 34 years old but he's been a trooper as he's not been prone to injuries. He likely has a good physical conditioning program but age is always the worry. Fletch is around the same age and has one year of experience under Fewell's system.
marauderswr80 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I saw something on Sportscenter about Edwards and how he is allergic to grass. He is, but I also heard he has to get shot up with some allergic meds before all games on grass.
In space no one can hear Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I saw something on Sportscenter about Edwards and how he is allergic to grass. He could never survive in the Bengals locker room!
ROCCEO Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I support Donnie Edwards, if we cant find a better or younger guy then for the right price he would be a gem. ALthough it wouldnt go far in the way of getting stouter up the middle. Edwards is at his best in coverage or in space. Not overly powerful. THe guy is a player though. Plus, its my understanding that hes a high-character guy. Watch out, I wouldnt be surprised if we sign an older vet like Edwards because LB is a position where experience can count for a lot(look at the patsies), furthermore, remember that Marv was the special teams coach for the "over the hill gang"
NY Nole Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I like Fletcher alot and will miss him -- but to offset his loss, I would really like to see Buffalo grab Buster Davis from FSU in the Draft. After watching him in college, I think he is a clone of Fletcher.
