DrDawkinstein Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 i think ive read all that before somewhere.... hmmm.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 "I heard he is jackass and not a team a player at all. He also isnt a big time player. Notice his 3.9 RPC average. Not good. Being where I am now, I have met a lot of Bills fans, they all say they want him off the team and he gets all his yards against the Jets." Harsh!

Helmet_hair Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 You guys are crazy, Mcgahee and going to tear up the field this year. Mark my words.
daquixers_is_back Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 I can see where this thread is going and its hilarious. It just goes to show you that Bills fans will NEVER BE HAPPY! As soon as McGahee is gone, we will probably acquire someone worse, and then they will get rampaged by the fans, and on and on. There were Bills fans who complained about Thurman Thomas when he was in his prime. Our offensive line sucks, so we give Losman a pass. Yet McGahee gets the axe. Hilarious.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 ill state that im one of the few that wants us to keep McGahee for at least this year. we have enough other holes to fill and he is MORE than servicable.

Losman gets a pass because, as far as I can remember, he hasn't: Proclaimed himself the best player in the NFL, at his position. Even though Ray Charles could tell him otherwise. He hasn't produced offspring faster than Shawn Kemp on viagra. Hasn't told the world he'd be happier if the Bills were in Toronto. Hasn't asked for a contract extention based on his "piss-poor" production thusfar in the NFL. Gee, guess you're right.. how dare anyone get down on poor Willis.. someone take my "Get Willis the hell out of Buffalo" membership card. I guess I don't need it.

If McGahee were so good why would Jet fans have the same criticisms that many Bills fans have of the player? That being Willis has a poor YPC average and doesn't show up for teams not named the New York Jets. Maybe all this negativity towards him will make him want to give it his all in 2007, only time will tell. At least this season we'll ALL find out once and for all what kind of heart and skills this player has. If he's traded, I won't really care all that much because of how ineffective I saw him as our starting RB. I think Lynch, Hunt, Walker or Booker would be able to produce as good or better if one of them were drafted by the Bills. Please don't compare McGahee with Thomas. Thurman always gave 100%, which is something that everyone could see Willis didn't always give in 2006.

JAMIEBUF12 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 how old were you when thurman was in his prime? i was 24 91 season lol...god i miss tt........and i remember on tv tt saying maybe they needed a new qb lol lol..i seem to remember the bickering bills kinda ending after that.i loved those teams and never complianed about any of the players.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 how old were you when thurman was in his prime? he answered the question. now what?
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 The one thing I saw that was pretty interesting was a mention of Green Bay being interested. Green is near the end and Willis is a similiar type of back. Remember, Green was very unproductive in Seattle before the Packers acquired him. Plus with Favre coming back, this team is probably pressing to make one final push. I definitely could see them offering a 2nd. Plus, the irony of Willis complaining about Buffalo and getting traded to Green Bay would absolutely make me laugh my @ss off.

The only reason I would like McGahee for another year is because It's contract year for him and he wants a lot of money.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 The only reason I would like McGahee for another year is because It's contract year for him and he wants a lot of money. Do you think that Nate "upped" his performance to some extent (particularly in the 2nd 1/2 of the season) because he was in a contract year? '07 could be Willis' best year in a Bills uniform (and perhaps his last?).
smokinandjokin Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Hopefully, we can run our second straight 1200-yard back out of town. WE HAVE THE BEST FANS IN THE LEAGUE!!! We don't sell out four games, we take Willis' "If the NFL plays a game in Toronto, it should be the Buffalo Bills" quote to Penthouse (!!!) magazine as proof that Willis wants the team to move. Hey, the Leafs sell out even when they're bad...Maybe Toronto would be a better option...

Hey, the Leafs sell out even when they're bad...Maybe Toronto would be a better option... 1200 yards and how many games was he out with cracked ribs?? 4? And when he came back from the injury, Solomon Wilcots on the CBS game coverage said that Willis was still playing with some soreness as not all of the ribs had healed.
