ThreeBillsDrive Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...p&type=lgns Would any Bills fan be willing to do this if we lost Superbowl XLII to Drew Brees or Tony Romo or Brett Favre or (choke, clearing throat) Rex Grossman?

The guy is a genious. I can see it now, he and the real Peyton doing Staples commercials together. Pencils, paper, toner, you name it.

ThreeBillsDrive Posted February 8, 2007 Author Posted February 8, 2007 maybe the nfl will send this guy one of peytons paychecks by accident That one check will be enough to fund this guy's retirement.
drnykterstein Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Uhm wow. I feel bad for him, but then again... I dont.
ko12010 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I just don't see how you could make such a bet when your team has a qb like Grossman. As close as the game was late into the third I don't think anyone in the country thought the bears were going to win. How do you gamble something like that, and also, whoever he bet against is being a real douchebag making him go through with it.
Orton's Arm Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...p&type=lgns Would any Bills fan be willing to do this if we lost Superbowl XLII to Drew Brees or Tony Romo or Brett Favre or (choke, clearing throat) Rex Grossman? This may shock some people, but in real life my name's not Holcomb's Arm. It's Jeff Mark Troy Troy Hostetler Rypien Aikman Aikman. Those four years were pretty rough for a guy like me. Good thing I'm not a women's basketball fan.
generaLee83 Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 The guy is a genious. I can see it now, he and the real Peyton doing Staples commercials together. Pencils, paper, toner, you name it. You have to wonder if he will end up getting mucho publicity for this.

Sorry Holcomb, but he beat you by a good 11 hours.

They had this on PTI this yeasterday. This is so dumb.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted February 9, 2007 Author Posted February 9, 2007 You have to wonder if he will end up getting mucho publicity for this. .... and likely a spot on Letterman or Leno. The guy is craftier on the PR front than people might think. What a way to make a career change from Staples.
