DrDawkinstein Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 would you try to contact the LEAGUE first, or a specific team?

Cornerville Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Prrof positive that drinking Jack Daniels at 6:18 EST on a Monday with no MNF in sight is not advisible.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 well, im just going to send it to the main office National Football League 280 Park Avenue New York, NY 10017
bluenews Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 well, im just going to send it to the main office National Football League 280 Park Avenue New York, NY 10017 please add; Attention Trash Can I would contact the team with an offer they couldn't refuse. However, at some point you are going to "stroke" league office and other owners for eventual approval.
stuckincincy Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 well, im just going to send it to the main office National Football League 280 Park Avenue New York, NY 10017 Please let us know what happens!
ThreeBillsDrive Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Please let us know what happens! Do you think the NFL has pre-approved form letters responding to letters like this? "Dear Mr. Smith, We appreciate your interest in pursuing an NFL team at this time. Unfortunately no current openings are available. We will keep your letter on file for 6 months in the event our needs change Thank you for your interest in the NFL. We wish you the best of success in your future endeavours. Yours truly, Roger Goodell NFL Commisioner"
DrDawkinstein Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 actually, thats the exact reason my friend and i are doing it. we just want an official letter from the NFL denying our bid of roughly $7000 to buy the Bills... its gonna look real nice framed and hanging in my office

Many people frame and display "ding" letters with a source of pride! Just don't expect Goodell's signature to be in ink. (You don't have to tell anyone that though!)
fairweather fan Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I believe that you are overpaying, and, watch out, the offer may be accepted.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Please let us know what happens! I want to know too. This is intersting.
/dev/null Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 cmon guys, i need some help. i already put together my package: a complete Mighty Taco application 2 bank statements 3 months worth of 3 utility bills a letter of recommendation from my 8th grade gym teacher another from my ex-gf's dad (hes a cop) and a formal offer letter You'll also need some venture capital. Here is what I propose. File papers to form a Presidential exploratory committe. Raise some political funds, that should help you get $100 mil or so. Then announce you don't want to run for President
