Buftex Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Wow. The guy was only 41... he died of a heart attack. Life is too short!
Pete Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 That is awful! I always admired the way Caminetti played the game. He was a tough dude.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Yep not to mention steroids. Sad, but not suprising.
Pete Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Wow Ken really had a sad life after baseball. It is tragic. He was an addict that was very self destructive. All that natural ability and talent wasted. I am sure ESPN will shed light on it. From what I am reading Ken was just released from jail on 5 days ago(October 5) after serving 189 days on drug charges- http://kffl.com/player/9475/MLB

runner Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 The guy should be a poster boy for what can happen when you shoot up on steriods and turn to drugs. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing more of this in the next decade as these guys hit middle age...
