You can bet the hype machine has been eating this one up.You have no idea what you're talking about. There are public service ads all the time on TV telling people to have emergency provisions on hand for when this eventually happens (the "3 days, 3 ways" campaign). The whole reason they're replacing the Alaskan Way Viaduct is because of the earthquake risk. Other than holding people's hands, I'm not sure what you want the government to do.
